What do you need to do to compete?

3 simple steps to a successful registration

01

Assemble a strong team!

Teams of 4 can register. It's a plus if you each specialise in different areas (strategy, finance, marketing), but it's fine if you're all generalists — what matters most is that your team dynamic works!

02

Register by March 11!

You can register from domestic and cross-border universities that offer Hungarian-language economics programmes. Team members must be at least in their second year (having started their 3rd semester), with active student status.

03

Submit your online round solution!

After registration, you'll receive the online round case by email. You must submit your solution by March 15 via the form also sent by email. Failing to submit invalidates your entry.

The 2026 Competition Structure

1

March 2–15

Online Round
Registered teams have nearly two weeks from the start of the competition to solve the case study. If more than three teams apply from the same university, an internal round will also be held there. A maximum of three teams per university may advance to the pre-selection.

2

March 23–27

University Internal Rounds
If more than three teams from a university have applied, the university holds an internal round to select the three teams that will represent it in the national pre-selection. Universities with fewer than three applicants skip the internal round and advance directly.

3

April 15

Announcement of Finalist Teams
Following the university internal rounds, the national jury selects 12 teams to advance to the national finals, based on the work submitted in the first round. The expert jury decides based on the submitted presentation and executive summary.

4

April 25–27

National Finals & Gala Dinner
During this 3-day event, the finalist teams have 33 hours to solve a new case study. The weekend is a series of events combining team-building and networking programmes, offering outstanding professional development for competitors.
