Our Story
The OEV Story
The National Case Study Competition (OEV) was established in the late 1990s at the initiative of the Department of Management and Organisation at Corvinus University of Budapest. The goal was to bring the case-based teaching methodology to Hungary and create a competition where students could solve real business problems in Hungarian.

Reviews
Testimonials about OEV

"I have participated as a jury member at OEV on several occasions in recent years and was well acquainted with the competition even as a student. Fifteen years ago, the case study methodology was still relatively new in Hungary, but today it has become very widely used in most higher education institutions. OEV has consistently been a pioneer in this process, championing the methodology to both companies and students alike."
Czikora Tamás
Head of Mobility, MOL Group

"The National Case Study Competition is a great opportunity for those who want to make the most of their university years — to test the knowledge gained at university by solving real business problems, and to demonstrate their abilities in front of a jury of practitioners."
Dr. Fehér Péter
Dean for Executive Programmes and Specialist Further Training, Corvinus University of Budapest

"OEV was always the challenge of the year for me. An exciting case study, an open-minded professional jury, and a great atmosphere greeted me every time. These experiences defined my student years — I learned and gained so much through them."
